• Which of the U.S. stock markets can I trade stocks from?

  You can trade stocks / ETFs listed in any of the U.S. stock exchanges such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation System (Nasdaq).

• How do I buy or sell a stock / ETF on Syfe?

  With Syfe, you can select from over 10,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs and decide how much you want to invest. Through Syfe's fractional shares offering, you can buy any stock you want regardless of share price.
  
  If you wish to buy a stock or ETF, you can do so by selecting it and clicking the "Buy" option in the stock details page. Simply follow the instructions in the app to place your buy order.
  
  To sell a stock or ETF, log in to your Syfe account and view your "Portfolio" page. Select the desired stock you want to sell and click the "Sell" option in the stock details page. Follow the instructions in the app to complete your sell order.

• What are the order types available in Syfe?

  We currently offer 4 order types: Market Orders (by dollar), Market Orders (by shares), Limit Orders, and Stop Orders.

  Market Orders by dollar: This allows you to buy or sell a stock immediately at the market price by entering a minimum dollar value of USD 1.

  Market Orders by shares: This allows you to buy or sell a stock immediately at the market price by entering a specific quantity of shares.

  Limit Order: This allows you to buy or sell a stock at a specific limit price you want. The order will be executed at the limit price or better. Please note that limit orders are not guaranteed to fill. If the stock price does not meet your limit price, your limit order will not be executed.

  Stop Order: This allows you to buy or sell a stock at the market price once the stock is traded at or through the stop price. Once the stop price is reached, the order will become a market order and will be executed at the next available market price. Please note that if the stock price does not reach the stop price, the stop order will not be executed.

• Is there a minimum buying or selling amount for stocks / ETFs on Syfe Trade?

  Your minimum 'buy' order for each stock / ETF has to be at least US$1.
  
  How to sell a stock?
  Go to Syfe > Portfolio. Select the desired stock you want to sell and click the "Sell" option on the stock details page. Follow the instructions in the app to place the order.
  
  Is there a minimum selling amount on Syfe?
  There is no minimum selling amount. You may choose to liquidate your holdings anytime.

• How long does it take for a buy or sell order to be executed?

  This depends on the order type. Market orders are executed immediately, whereas limit/stop-loss orders are executed once the specified price criteria are met. If the market is not open, your orders will be queued and submitted when the market opens again.

• Is there a limit to how many orders I can have?

  No, there is no limit on the number of orders you can create.

• Can I short sell a stock?

  No, short selling of stocks is not supported at the moment.

• Can I cancel a pending order?

  Yes. You can cancel an order as long as it's still pending and not executed yet.

  You may go to Order History, then click on Pending Order to see the option to cancel an order.

• Do I get charged when I cancel an order?

  No, there are no additional charges for cancelling a pending order.

• How will I know if my order has failed to get through?

  You will receive an in-app notification to inform you should your order fail. If your order fails you will need to place the order again.

• How can I change the currency used to top up funds?

  When adding funds, click the desired currency and transfer funds to the account number specified.

• Are there any extra fees or commissions when selling a stock?

  Syfe's standard fees, FX fees and regulatory charges apply. No other additional fees apply.

• How do I enable fractional shares?

  Fractional shares trading in the U.S. market is enabled by default. Please note that some stocks cannot be fractionally traded and you may see an error message if you try to do fractional trading for those stocks.
  
  What are the fees associated with fractional shares?
  There are no additional fees for fractional shares trading. Syfe's standard fees apply for each trade transaction.

  You can invest in fractions of US stocks from as little as US$1.

• Will I receive a fractional share from a corporate action?

  Yes, if a U.S. corporate action issues fractional shares, the fractional shares will be credited to your Syfe Trade account.
